The DTS is an upgradable scrambler and multiplexer, with 7 AV Inputs, and 64/256 QAMs, with optional ASI or IF (44 Mhz) output.

    The Challenger DTS, is part of a total system that includes Conditional Access and Subscriber Management systems, which are configured, racked and tested by Transparent Video technicians before shipping. At the CATV plant, analog program sources are looped through from the Challenger DTS to the analog modulators. Set-top boxes are deployed for onsite testing, then delivered to customers.
